The Ministry of Transport has released the draft Government Policy Statement on land transport 2018/19 – 2027/28 (the draft GPS 2018) for formal engagement, and is seeking feedback.

The GPS helps to guide investment in transport by providing a longer term strategic view of how we prioritise things in the transport network.

The draft GPS 2018 sets out government's priorities for the land transport sector, and guides the allocation of over $4 billion each year.

The Ministry is inviting stakeholders to provide comment for an 5-week engagement period, ending at 5pm on Friday 31 March 2017.
